After a decade of mission and itinerant worship leading, Zac and his family left the road to join Pastor Mattie Montgomery in founding The Altar Fellowship in 2020.

In 2021, The Altar Music was born, and from it, sounds of the worshippers of Appalachia. Their debut album, Welcome Home, was released the next year, followed by their second, Timeless, in 2025.

As a songwriter, Zac is credited for songs like Death Defeated, Follow the Lamb, Crimson Sea, and many others.
